Message from Africa

Well. it is past time I update this blog !  I was offered an opportunity to come out of retirement and take an international assignment in Guinea, West Africa where I have been for some time now.  It's been an experience, for sure.  To facilitate this change, Carmel and I remodeled a home we own in Corpus Christi and she is living there now. I have only spent a couple of weeks there, and I like what she has done to the house. It really feels like home. We have compromised and have an agreement that when I return in December, we will live in Corpus Christi during the "winter" months and travel in the coach perhaps 6 months or more. Not quite fulltiming, but the arrangement still allows us to see some wonderful places and meet many new friends. I'll take advantage of the great fishing in the Corpus Christi area while there and maybe even do some short trips. Then in maybe April, we'll start West for some mountain air. 

My wife had a slab poured in the backyard of the Corpus Christi property and our coach fits there just fine. See you all on the road again soon !
