Dutch Star on the Chama River, Chama, New Mexico

One of our favorite places in the west is Chama, New Mexico. The people are friendly, the scenery great and the weather is cool and fresh. We parked with the Dutch Star about 15 feet from the Chama River. While there, we rode the narrow gauge train into Colorado and back.
